Climate Governance
The Climate Governance Accelerator is a capacity-building program by the Centre for Climate Action designed to strengthen climate leadership across public and private sectors. It equips decision-makers, policymakers, and practitioners with practical tools, frameworks, and governance models needed to design, implement, and monitor effective climate policies.
Through targeted training and applied learning, the program enhances institutional readiness for climate action, improves policy coherence, and supports evidence-based decision-making. Participants gain the skills required to translate climate commitments into actionable strategies that drive measurable impact at local, national, and organizational levels.
Key focus areas include:
Details on designing effective climate policies and frameworks that guide implementation at national and regional levels.
Strengthening collaboration between government institutions, private sector, civil society, and development partners for effective climate action.
Promoting openness, accountability, and inclusivity in climate governance and decision-making processes.
Mainstreaming climate considerations into national and regional development plans, policies, and strategies.
Tracking progress, measuring impact, and reporting on climate policy implementation and outcomes.
