Center for Climate Action (CCA) is a non-for-profit organization involved in Climate Governance, Research and Knowledge Exchange for enhancing climate resilience through adaptation and mitigation initiatives at the local, national, regional and international levels. CCA provides a holistic approach to a fully integrated three-pronged solution that combines social, environmental and economic aspects for an environmental revolution whilst empowering communities to adapt to the reeling impacts of climate change as well providing guidance on people centered climate policies, plans and programmes at different levels.

The City Level Resilience Project works to create resilient cities with the capacity to plan for and mitigate adverse impacts of climate change and disasters and, thus enabling them to reduce losses, save lives, have a clean and green environment, and unlock their social and economic potential.
The aim of the program is to catalyze a shift toward longer term, more comprehensive multi-disciplinary packages of technical and financial services, building the pipeline for viable projects at the city level that, in turn, build resilience.
CLRP pursues three strategic objectives to move toward this vision:
CLRP supports cities across three main thematic areas: Planning for Resilience focuses on providing technical support to ensure that capital investment plans are risk informed. Finance for Resilience zeros in on capital mobilization around urban resilience. Partnership for Resilience concentrates on advocacy and convening global expertise. Together, these three thematic areas are key to helping cities address the resilience challenges of the future.
