DESCRIPTION:Event Description\nCOP26 represents a key event that brings together all the major stakeholders engaged in climate change issues from governments\, the private sector\, and civil society\, including all the Bank’s main partners in the climate change domain. \nCentre for Climate Action participates in COP26 to amplify East African voice and priorities on climate change\, as articulated in the EAs common position. Through COP26 participation\, we intends to: \n\nStrengthen EA’s voice and priorities on climate change\, as articulated in the EA common position under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC); and\nShowcase transformative continental programs and innovative de-risking financial instruments to crowd in private sector capital flows.\nForge partnerships to mobilize resources for effective implementation of climate actions after COP26.
